O-Rings & Gaskets
The world's most universal sealing element for static and dynamic assemblies. Metric, inch (AS568), DIN 3771, and custom cross-sections.
Engineering & Design Standards
An O-Ring is a circular elastomeric ring designed for static and dynamic mechanical sealing. It seats inside standardized housing grooves and compresses upon assembly to form a bubble-tight barrier between mating surfaces.
It operates reliably under tens of megapascals of hydraulic pressure in static closures (flanges, covers) and dynamic rods/shafts. Since 2013, Ege Conta has produced standard and custom O-Rings using automated vulcanization presses, cryogenic liquid nitrogen tumbling, and 360° optical inspection.
